Before it gets to your drinking glass, your water is tested for over 90 contaminants from customer locations throughout Lake Oswego and Tigard. Sourced from the Clackamas River, your water goes through multiple stages of treatment and filtration to provide water to more than 90,000 residents every day.

Tigard marks 'independence' not with fireworks but waterworks

There were no bands, parades or skyrockets in flight to mark the occasion, but Tigard officials celebrated "Water Independence Day" earlier this month.

On June 9, 2016, the water supply Tigard had been purchasing from the Portland Water Bureau was shut off — and taps within Tigard's service area began pouring water from the Clackamas River.

Waluga Reservoir 1 Roof Replacement Construction Update

Construction and site restoration was completed last month for the WR1 roof replacement project! The 4 million gallon reservoir is back online, servicing Tigard and Lake Oswego. The pathways through the reservoir site are now reopened.
