Transportation System Plan Update & Transit Development Plan Now Underway

The TSP is a long‐range document that guides the expansion and management of our transportation network for all modes of travel over the next 20 years. In conjunction with the TSP update, the City will develop a TDP, which will inform investment in the Corvallis public transportation system.

CAMPO Regional Transportation Plan Hosts Open House on January 25th

In related project news…the Corvallis Area Metropolitan Planning Organization is updating the Regional Transportation Plan and is seeking your input. The RTP is a multimodal transportation plan that covers the cities of Corvallis, Philomath and Adair Village as well as portions of Benton county adjacent to those cities.

The project is hosting an open house to review and comment on the Draft Regional Transportation Plan and draft regional project list. The draft regional project list may be updated when the local Transportation System Plans are completed in Corvallis and Philomath.

Corvallis TSP Open House, November 29

Join us at the Project Open House November 29th!

The project is hosting its first Open House on November 29, 2016 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Corvallis Public Library, 645 NW Monroe Ave. Come and meet the project team, review current and future conditions of the transportation system, and provide your ideas for walking, biking, driving, public transit and freight improvements. If you can't make it in person, visit www.CorvallisTSP.org between November 29 and December 20, 2016 to participate in the virtual open house where you can review project materials and provide comments.


Steering Committee Meeting, November 14, 2016

The fifth meeting of the Corvallis Transportation System Plan Steering Committee will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Downtown Fire Station Meeting Room, 400 NW Harrison Boulevard, Second Floor, Corvallis OR 97333. Meetings are open to the public and include a public comment period. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the next set of Technical Memos, which will focus on a "no build" scenario. This scenario would show the impacts to the transportation system if no changes are made under future growth assumptions.

  • Discuss key findings from the Existing Conditions analysis

  • Provided an update on the status of the Corvallis TSP project and other local planning efforts
  • Introduced new work products: project evaluation criteria (Tech Memo #6) and existing conditions evaluations (Tech Memos #7 and #8)
